About Roseland

Roseland is a small town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, with a population of approximately 1100 as of the 2020 census. It is part of the Hammond Micropolitan Statistical Area. The town covers an area of 2.27 square miles, with a significant portion being land and a smaller part water​.

 

The town was incorporated in 1922 and operates under Louisiana’s Lawrason Act. It holds monthly council meetings to address local governance issues.

 

Roseland is known for its rural charm and historical significance within the parish. It serves as a quiet residential area with close-knit community values.
